Clevedon School students have captivated audiences with four flawless performances of Footloose.
Over a period of four evenings, full-house audiences were kept entertained by the exceptional contributions from more than 80 staff and students.
Debbie Morgan, Curriculum Lead for the Performing Arts, said: "It was amazing to see the cast and crew reach such an incredible standard.
“The whole process was joyous, which was clear from the energy and commitment on stage. I am just so proud of everything that the whole team of Footloose has achieved.”
Tickets for the Footloose performances were sold out in a record 2.5 hours as the school continues to build it's reputation for producing West End style shows.
Beyond acting, students were also responsible for key technical positions including lighting, sound and stage management.
All musicians who participated were members of the school community.
James Barnett, a Year 12 BTEC Performing Arts Student and participant in Footloose, said: "Footloose was an amazing opportunity to be part of the annual musical.
"I have met so many talented and kind people and have been able to get involved in all aspects of the show including choreography and directing."
One audience member commented that Footloose was, "Simply the best thing I have ever seen on an amateur or professional theatre stage".
Their next performance has been slated to be 'Legally Blonde'.
